My father is a ex-monk from Tibet. My mother is Princess Dewa from Xinjiang who is a direct line from Genghis Khan.
I was born in Taiwan, grew up in the States and retuned to Gaden in India in 1987. Had the great honour to be ordained by HH Dalai Lama and to meet my root guru HH Kyabje Zong Rinpoche.
Now I reside in Malaysia as spiritual advisor to the Kechara organisation.

Pat is a talented seamstress/tailor. Once she gets her hands on any fabric, she will do wonders with it. She is the chief seamstress/tailor at our Kechara Saraswati Arts dept. She works hard, and very dedicated. I am happy to have her with us. On her free time she does EXTRA dharma work too.
Here's Pat in the Tsem Ladrang kitchen. She is doing all day cooking for the last Liaison's Meeting. Liaisons gather once a month to have meetings, updates and decisions for all of Kechara House. Pat appreciates them very much and has volunteered to cook in the kitchen for liaisons. How very caring and loving of Pat. I rejoiced when I heard the news.
Thank you for caring so much Pat!!

I like this picture of Vivian and Pat in KSA. Such a nice warm picture....thank you ladies for dedicating yourself to others through Dharma!!!! You set a great example on many levels!!
I met Vivian 18 years ago in 1992. I was in walking around in SS2 Petaling Jaya and looking for photographer to take some pictures. I walked into their shop and met Vivian and her husband. They found me 'unusual' and I found them interesting...hehehe. We did the photo shoot and afterwards I had lunch with her husband. They have a family business there at the time of taking professional pictures and prints. Her husband is a very good photographer.
Ever since that day they took pictures of me at their SS2 shop, we have been friends going nearly on two decades... Now Vivian and her daughter Sophie are regular volunteers in Kechara Saraswati Arts Dept. They do such wonderful art works and very important members of this dept. Her other daughter Angie works in Kechara Oasis Resteraunt. Nice girl also. And yet another daughter Suzan works for Kechara Paradise..and she is a great person to explain things to you as she is good in conversation... A short while back I married Suzan in a Buddhist Ceremony in Kechara House.
All this from an accidental meeting in SS2. Nice. Fate..karma..affinity...destiny...and everything nice..
Here, Vivian sent me an exotic plant with a note..how sweet. It's nice to have friends for long term. Treat everyone with respect, love and care and most of the time it works out.

Vivian Ng...my friend taken just a few days ago in KSA.
Cynthia is an important member of our E-division headed by Liaison Beng Kooi. Cynthia is quiet, hardworking, dedicated and sticks to schedules. She sleeps very little, eats little and produces alot. She is very petite and soft spoken. You wouldn't even know she is in the room, but that does not mean she is overlooked. She makes herself shine through her work. She is important just like everyone else.
She is intelligent and creative. She does alot of our E-division graphic designs. She can work non-stop when a project needs to meet a deadline. Very professional. She never complains or makes 'funny' faces, but just gets the work done!! I am amazed about that. She fits the E-team very well.
Recently she has donated these pillows to the chill-out room in E-division. I am happy for her because it is always nice to give to what you are doing. To share with the people you work with everyday. It's important to share with others at work. You spend so much time with them, so why not make better relations with everyone at work.
I am happy for Cynthia to be generous and share with the fellow people she works together with every single day.

We in Kechara really have a good time and at the same time we are very spiritual. Why not have fun on the spiritual path. Nothing wrong. I feel Dharma must suit current trends, current modes but keep the essence of dharma pure.
Thanks to all the dancers, margaret and everyone involved. It looks great and it is for a great cause!!
I hope Rinpoche is fine. I am always praying for Rinpoche's long life and good health. Thank you Rinpoche for everything. I have sent Rinpoche lay out of my plan for my house. Kb has been working with me over 5 years. A sincere, loving, caring and very nice person. He is now building a small family home in Lumbini!! Lumbini is the place where Lord Buddha was born. How blessed and what a nice place to live.
Above is the plans for a small one story house with a small VAJRA YOGINI CHAPEL on the roof. So in this chapel a Vajra Yogini image will be kept for the family to worship, do pujas and make offerings daily!! Exciting. Kb is a very religious and devout person. Kb is hindu and loves Vajra Yogini also setrap!
I've included plans that Kb sent me for his house plans. I wish him great luck in building this small simple house. When completed, his father, wife and brother's wife will be staying in the house. Kb's father is elderly and needs a comfortable place to live. Kb is very filial toward his father as the mom has passed away already.
So Kb will keep us updated with the progress of the building and kind Raj Kumar will help.
As I get updates, I will post here. Do send warm messages, prayers and love to KB during this interim please. He has alot of work and overseeing building is not easy and it is KB's first time.

Send my regards to the boys and of course to the both of you.

Ooooops!!! After I posted this above photo/comment, 15 minutes later Lily sent me another picture below of Keng Nam & son eating. It could still be staged though... Hehe. Perhaps, after reading the above she must of ran into the kitchen and grabbed some eats and brought it out...hmmm....
Ok ok ok...your reading the blog and particpating in the blogging retreat also...hehehe. Should we believe them? Leave your comments..LOL. Tsem Tulku

These training sessions are held in Tsem Ladrang and very useful.
Kechara or our members are called Kecharians are very progressive group and keeps up with technology for dharma. We are not afraid of technology but see it's great potential to reach out to many.
Jean Ai, you are a sweet, talented, very intelligent young lady. Thanks for having these training sessions. Have more in the future!! I love seeing our people enhance their talents. Kecharians are so talented in many fields.
Today I received this very nice email from Ms. Connie Bach, via my Liaison Su Ming. It is a very sincere letter and I wanted to share it with all my students and friends.
Dear Su Ming,
How are you? I hope you are in the best of health.
Dear Su Ming, please convey my deep sincere thanks to Rinpoche for his generous and heartfelt gift of the book and DVD titled Snakes, Roosters and Pigs. Even though, I live half a world away from Rinpoche, but he always reaches out and gives me his precious Dharma teachings to remind me to keep up with my Dharma practice.
I feel so blessed to meet and receive teachings from him. Without his compassion, I would never be where I am today. My practice continues to improve immensely and my health is getting better every day. Looking back and comparing myself to a year ago, I could not believe what I have accomplished so far.
I forever remember Rinpoche's compassion, J P Thong, Datuk May Phng, you, Wendy, Monlam, JJ and the rest of Rinpoche's wonderful students, who went out of their way to help me. I admire so much the quality of respect, love and dedication that Rinpoche's students have for him. A real example of Guru Devotion.
Dear Su Ming, I would like to conclude here with my best wishes, prayers for Rinpoche's long and healthy life, and 25 copies of Snakes Roosters and Pigs as an offerring to Rinpoche. I also pray that the Buddhas continue to pour blessings on each one of Rinpoche's students and give them a lot of happiness and best of health.
With much love and prayers,
Connie Bach
I met Connie Bach when she visited Kechara two years ago
Ms Connie Bach has been the sponsor of my good friend, Ven. Kating Rinpoche for many years. Two years ago, she and Kating Rinpoche came to Malaysia to visit Kechara and to see what we are doing here.
Connie and I both have the same Guru, the late Geshe Tsultrim Gyeltsen from Thubten Dargye Ling centre in Los Angeles, where I used to live. She has been actively doing Dharma work, and also organising and sponsoring Dharma activities in TDL centre. When Geshe-la entered clear light, Connie was devastated. So while she was here, we had an opportunity to talk and I gave her a little bit of advice for her to do some retreats. She and Kating Rinpoche both completed the retreats in our beautiful Kechara Guest House, and I am very happy about that.
Read more about our Kechara Guest House here (http://www.kechara.com/kechara-house/guest-house/). It is right above Kechara House 2, and is very convenient for visitors from afar to stay here and join in our activities.
Kechara Guest House-a place to stay when you are visiting our organization.
Generous Connie has been close to Kating Rinpoche since he was a young monk. Although she lives in the US with her family, they are both very caring of eachother and Kating Rinpoche refers to her as his Mom Connie. Sweet.
Recently, I have sent her some books and DVDs to help her keep up with her practice. It is the least I can do as her Guru is no longer around. I want Connie to be ok. I don't want her to think she is alone. I offer her my friendship to make sure she is ok.
I was also very happy that my student JJ Chong gave his first Dharma teaching on Setrap's lineage, history, practice and benefits.
JJ is 26 and he has been with me for a number of years now. He has very strong Dharma imprints and I am very glad that he is starting to mature and turn into a beneficial person. He works in the Tsem Ladrang Dept and has many duties which he tries his best to carry out. Smart, quick, sensitive, loves the dharma, and has huge potential is how I see JJ.
Please watch JJ's talk about Setrap by clicking the box below:
I am again very happy that Jj's sincerely and from his heart gave this talk which was very good I am told.
Please do listen and drop a comment to encourage and bless this aspiring dharma teacher. The more teachers that teach from the heart, the better.
JJ loves his mother and sister so much. His dad passed away when he was very young. He is very close to his mother and sister. He cares for them very much and has tremendous affection for them. He dedicates his merits towards them when he does special dharma work I know. He wants them to be ok always. He cares about his best friend Joshua also. I know he dedicates merits to Joshua and family. I am happy to see this in young people. To remember kindness and repay kindness is a trait JJ has and I encourage.
I offer my prayers and sincerest good wishes that JJ in the future may be able to benefit many people through holding vow, correct conduct, sincere motivation, following the Lam Rim and finally blessed by Lord Tsongkapa to change the lives of many for the better through skilful actions/speech and Dharma.
